AL-BIRD-A Wheat Pool Feeder

This bird feeder is inspired by our farming heritage. House & Object co-partners Matt & Jen both have families that pioneered farms here in Alberta. Jen's dad, Harry, grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan and later worked for both Saskatchewan and Alberta Wheat Pool. With the money he saved from these jobs, he bought their first and only family home in North Edmonton where Jen's mom still lives today. Harry passed suddenly last year due to cancer. We came up with this feeder with Jen's mom, an avid bird watcher, in mind. This first one was made as a tribute to Harry and a gift to Jen's mom. It will now feed the birds in the yard he worked in, gardened in, and took care of with her.

- Plexi window to control grain flow and see when you need a refill
- Mounting holes in the backside to easily and sturdily fit onto any vertical surface including fence boards
- Custom painted by Konanz & Co with an aged effect to give it that prairie heritage feel
- Personalize your city / town name custom painted on the front - you will be prompted for this information after adding it to your cart
